ZynAddSubFX is a soft synthesizer created by Nasca Octavian Paul, now maintained by Mark McCurry and Harald Hvaal. Available for use on Windows, Mac, and Linux, this cross-platform synthesis engine is split into three parts that can create a variety of sounds, all formed from generators.

ZynAddSubFX Does Everything[]

The main running joke in this wiki is that ZynAddSubFX, being a free and cross-platform synthesizer with so many mechanics as to have multiple engines in it, is so versatile that it can create just about every sound on this wiki. While this is obviously not the case, ZynAddSubFX is a powerful synthesizer with a strong focus in synthesis that makes it appear in numerous articles on the site.
